When Animal Aid Unlimited in India received a call that a dog had fallen into a deep, abandoned well in a village outside of Udaipur, they found a heartbroken dog desperate to be helped.
The moment she noticed the men were at the top of the hole she barked with a mixture of distress and relief. Finally, someone was there to help her!

Gearing up, one of the rescuers rappelled down to her and when he got to the bottom, the little dog’s tail frantically wagged and she sat patiently;
she was ready to get out of the dark, wet pit. Moments later, the rescuer and relieved dog are lifted to safety!
