Introducing a new member to your family can be challenging, especially when you already have a dog.
The dog may accept or reject the newcomer, and it’s difficult to anticipate their reaction. We cannot read a dog’s mind, or at least to my knowledge. Fortunately, in most cases, things go smoothly. However, as demonstrated in this video, sometimes it goes exceptionally well.
Kari Lewis was feeling blue after her two foster daughters were adopted. It was at that point when Reagan entered her life, an eight-month-old pup who actually belonged to her mother.
Although Reagan lived with Kari’s mother, Kari got to spend a lot of time with him. Shortly after, Kari had the opportunity to adopt a young boy, also eight months old. She named him Buddy as he was Reagan’s new buddy. The duo has become quite popular online, boasting over 100,000 followers.
Buddy and Reagan make such a photogenic pair. The video is filled with an array of delightful pictures of the two. The one where they appear as ghosts is my personal favorite. Additionally, the picture where they are wearing matching pajamas is simply too cute for words. Kudos to Buddy’s foster mother and grandmother for their innovative ideas. It’s moments like these that leave lasting impressions and memories.
Buddy’s photos are always taken in such a way that his face isn’t clearly visible. This is intentional and done as a safety measure to protect him. It’s also worth noting that “Buddy” isn’t his real name – another precaution his foster mother and grandmother have wisely taken. It’s hard to know who might be following him on Instagram, so it’s better to err on the side of caution. I really hope Reagan and Buddy continue their friendship for many years to come, even if he eventually gets adopted.

Nowadays, pets are more than just furry companions. They offer emotional support, help reduce feelings of loneliness and stress, and can even boost self-esteem and positive emotions in children.
For many pet owners, their four-legged friends are considered part of the family and they couldn’t imagine getting rid of them. However, sometimes the relationship between humans and animals doesn’t work out and adoption becomes the last resort
