How One Cat’s Incredible Transformation Revealed His True Beauty From Stray to Stunning

A feline with impaired vision upon discovery has undergone an amazing makeover, revealing its true beauty.

Andrea Christian, a foster for St. Francis Society Animal Rescue, received a request for help regarding a cat with mange about three months ago. The poor feline was suffering from scabies, and his eyes were sealed shut.

Despite her already full foster home, Andrea made room for him and began nursing him back to health. The cat, who goes by the name Mystic, had severe mange on his feet which made it difficult for him to walk.

Andrea knew that his recovery would take time, but she was determined to help him. Despite his condition, Mystic showed interest in food and affection, but his thick mange mask made eating a challenge.

Mystic was in a bad state, his body covered in mange. Andrea, also known as TurtleCatFoster, took him in and settled him in a cozy room, starting the lengthy procedure of removing the mange from his skin. She meticulously groomed and washed his face until the thick crusts were gone, lifting the weight off Mystic’s eyes and revealing the hidden beauty underneath. Finally, Mystic could open his eyes wide and showcase his true charm.

According to Andrea from @turtlecatfoster, she only realized that the cat she rescued had heterochromia, or two different colored eyes, after cleaning his face. The feline, Mystic, turned out to be a white cat with one blue eye and the other yellow. Despite this unique feature, he had no trouble enjoying his meals and taking his medication.

When Andrea met Mystic, the adorable little kitten, she was struck by his shyness and his unique feature – two different colored eyes. Despite his timidness, Andrea quickly earned Mystic’s trust and was able to give him medication, comb his fur, and even bathe him. After a week of receiving care and nourishment, Mystic’s physical condition improved significantly, but he remained hesitant to come out of hiding until he received some loving pets from Andrea.

Andrea, who goes by the name @turtlecatfoster, had another cat named Fuzzy Biscuits who was also suffering from mange just like Mystic. One day, she decided to introduce the two cats to each other since they were both undergoing treatment, neutered, and tested negative for diseases. To her surprise, they instantaneously clicked. Fuzzy Biscuits cuddled up to Mystic and started grooming him right away.

Mystic and Fuzzy Biscuits hit it off right away and formed an instant bond that brought joy to Mystic’s life. Finally having a companion who understood him, he opened up and showed affection towards her. The room was filled with the sound of their contented purrs as they cuddled together. Mystic has transformed into a beautiful cat with paws that seem to radiate happiness. He loves to knead on soft surfaces and stretch his toes out in pure bliss.

Andrea at Turtle Cat Foster shared that her furry friend enjoys kneading on anything soft and cozy. Additionally, the cat has grown more self-assured and now approaches his humans for head scratches. As long as he is in a secure environment with his beloved companion, the feline feels content. Mystic and Fuzzy Biscuits have also made great progress after receiving care and affection for a few weeks. They now boast lustrous and smooth fur, while Mystic has transformed into an affectionate and cuddly pet.

Andrea from @turtlecatfoster shared that despite his traumatic past, the cat in their care is incredibly affectionate. He treats all of the other animals in their foster home with kindness and has never gotten into a fight with another feline. Andrea added that he loves to snuggle up close to her and fall asleep while purring contentedly.

Turtlecatfoster’s Andrea is thrilled to announce that Mystic is now on the lookout for a forever home with his faithful companion, Fuzzy Biscuits. Although he may initially be shy around his new family, once he knows he’s in a safe and loving environment, Mystic will quickly warm up and become an affectionate member of his new human family.

Andrea, who goes by the handle @turtlecatfoster, expressed that the cat in her care is one of a kind. She made a commitment to find him a permanent home with individuals who require his companionship as much as he requires theirs.
