A tiny kitten had to take shelter beneath a car for safety and was in dire need of help. Unfortunately, experts claimed that the only option left was euthanasia. Despite receiving such a hopeless verdict, the kitten refused to give up and was determined to live on.
Fortunately, there are always kind-hearted people willing to support helpless animals, especially those that have suffered from neglect and abandonment. One such example is Angelito, a little kitten who was rescued by a compassionate individual after they discovered him abandoned under a car. Despite his handicap, the kitten was deemed worthy of saving.
Tata Cépedes chose to put his life on the line for Angelito by providing him with all the care and affection required for him to live a better life. He never considered euthanasia as an option, and instead explored all possible solutions. Despite being told that Angelito’s survival was unlikely, Tata vowed to take care of him for as long as he could.
Tata shared that many individuals are often hesitant to take in pets with special needs. She encountered this when she first met Angelito, a tiny kitten who was born with a congenital issue that affected his vertebrae and rendered his hind legs weak and immobile.
Despite being advised by three veterinary clinics to put Angelito to sleep, Tata was resolute in her belief that the cat deserved a fighting chance. While many may have accepted the grim outlook, Tata refused to give up on Angelito and was determined to do everything in her power to ensure his survival.
After conducting thorough research, he eventually stumbled upon a veterinarian who was passionately dedicated to nursing the tiny kitten back to health and believed in its recovery.
It was a relief for her to finally come across someone who shared her positive outlook and provided her with a glimmer of hope. Tata mentioned that another veterinarian had also extended a ray of hope by stating that the kitten’s organs were functioning properly, and the only problem was its inability to walk, which could be resolved if given proper attention.
Tata treats him to a customized dinner as he needs to follow an expensive diet that could harm his kidneys. She proves that there is no excuse for not dedicating oneself to a lifetime of unconditional love towards animals.
Even though animals with disabilities require special attention, with a little love, anything is possible. Every living being deserves to receive love and care, no matter what their condition may be. The caregiver tends to the animal’s basic needs such as changing diapers and providing massage therapy, but the most important thing they offer is affection.
Three custom-built wheelchairs have been created to help the animal move freely and adapt to his growing body. His independence has been regained with the use of these chairs, allowing him to walk and play comfortably. Through this system, the animal has gradually learned to improve his quality of life and adapt to his new circumstances.
