This joyful ending tale started off as one of the darkest, as a mother dog seemed to be pleading with us to help her severely injured pup.
Even after we carefully lifted her puppy, who had two serious wounds, and put him in the ambulance, she continued to make frantic attempts to communicate.
She had four other babies to look after, so we were unable to bring her along. We hoped that she would realize that we would do all in our power to save her beloved and bring him home.
