This is another example of a canine friend who fought a rattlesnake in order to save his human owner, despite suffering a terrible bite in the process, and was later honored as a hero for his courage.
When Paula Goodwin and her golden retriever, Todd, were hiking in Anthem, Arizona, they came across a dangerous snake. The rattlesnake may have killed any of them.
The rattlesnake is considered one of the deadliest snakes in the world and has been responsible for the deaths of thousands of people around the world.
When Paula was ready to inadvertently put her foot on the rattlesnake, Todd noticed the snake and immediately moved in front of her leg to prevent her from doing so.
He was successful in his attempts to save Paula, but as a result of his courage, he was severely bitten on the face, which caused his face to swell significantly.
Paula posted many photos of Todd on her Facebook page with the comment that she thinks he is a hero and a savior…
Paula wasted no time in taking Todd to the ansheid Animal Hospital, where he was examined and treated for his injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery. Photos of him, where he can be seen smiling cheerfully despite the injury, went viral on social media, and his newly acquired followers praised him for the courageous efforts he made to save the life of its owner.
It is a well-known fact that dogs are not counting on getting anything in return for the service they provide to their human owners. They just want to be loved by someone.
